Dancers

Inspired by ballet and in particular the ‘pas de deux’, Dancers is a series of five, 3 block sculptures in wood, plaster and concrete.

Completely unfixed, The ‘Dancers’ rely on the slightest of touches to enable the angles and positions that would be impossible for one to achieve without the other.

Because of the fragility of the plaster piece, each sculpture forms a captivating ‘pose’ in a gravity defying performance
