Concrete, wood (Ash) and plaster.

As pictured:
the largest block in this scale is the wooden wedge at 360 x 180 x 90mm

Artists note:

Like my other balancing pieces, these sculptures all stand unaided. However, the Dancers series remains unfixed and the delicate nature of the plaster gives them an air of transiency. Although much more robust than they appear, the occasional fall is expected and the resulting chips and scuffs all become part of the sculptures unique story and performance. As with Plastercastles and the various Time Pieces, this series is designed to acknowledge it’s journey through time.

A spare plaster piece is supplied as ‘understudy’ in case of  irreparable damage. After that, the show is over!
